Sometimes you repeatedly
need a report which requires considerable setting up. You setup
the formatting, the selection screen, and the sort screen. Each
can be saved and recalled, but what you'd really like is to
have your own tab in the report menu and simply select your
report fully customized. Timeslips does let you do this. Here's how:
1. Make a new group for the report
- Pulldown reports menu and select report
- Anywhere in the menu, right click and select Edit Groups

- Select NEW and give it a name. This creates a new tab for the new group.
- Use the move up and move down buttons on the right to place it where you want within the tabs

2. Now that you have your special tab (group), we'll add a report
- Notice that your new My special reports tab is there
- Click on the plus sign
- To create your report options
just cruise on through the wizard helper clicking NEXT when done

- 1. Use the Use the report I pick below option
- 2. Select the report you want
- 3. If you are unsure, the About This Report button is VERY useful
- Setup your Filters
- Setup your Sort order
- Setup you Formats
- Setup your output options
- Add the report to your menu with
- 1. A new Description
- 2. Select your group

That's all there is to it. Now you can run your report simply
by selecting it off your menu.
