New Class: Internet Safety
If you use the Internet or do E-mail, then you would likely benefit from my Internet safety class. If not, then why are you reading this newsletter?
I offer a new class on Internet Safety in the CC&T classrooms at 7100 SW Hampton, Suite 121-D in Tigard. (In Commerce Plaza) Every student will be working on a class computer and actually performing the safety procedures. The class is limited to 8 students.
We cover improving Internet Explorer's safety and using alternative browsers, antivirus and firewall software, improving Email safety, and cleaning up spyware. A few hints regarding passwords are also discussed. When done, students will understand the safety issues regarding the Internet and how to use the Internet and Email more safely. In addition, they will receive a CD with the free software demonstrated in the class.
The first class will be held on: September 16, from 1:00P.M to 4:00 P.M. and will cost $135. Space will be limited so call soon and reserve a spot.
