Controlling Firefox Updates

I've had some clients complain that they don't like Firefox updating automatically. Sometimes they are in a hurry and don't want to take the time to update. If you don't want firefox updating automatically, you can change it so it asks first. But remember, most updates resolve security issues, so don't put it off too long.

Select Tools⁄ then Options⁄ then Advanced⁄ Then Update

The current version of Firefox is 3.5.2. You can check your version with Help and About. If you are still running a version below 3.5 you should download and install the latest version right over the top of your earlier version. Get Firefox at http:⁄⁄www.mozilla.com
